Contribution:

Independently developed a battle royale style prototype focused on replicating core gameplay systems found in large scale multiplayer shooters. Designed and implemented the zone shrinking system, dynamic player spawning, and core gameplay loop from scratch. Built systems for player state handling, basic combat interactions, and match flow management to simulate a complete round based experience.

Structured the project with modular and scalable architecture to allow rapid iteration and testing of gameplay mechanics. Implemented logic for safe zone progression, player elimination flow, and session control, ensuring consistent behavior during gameplay. Focused on performance and responsiveness during early stage development, optimizing core systems to maintain stability under multiple active entities.

Handled all programming, prototyping, and system design decisions, translating high level concepts into functional gameplay features. The project was developed as a personal prototype to explore and validate large scale gameplay systems and technical workflows.

Project Result:

Completed a fully functional battle royale style prototype as a personal practice project, focusing on learning and validating core gameplay systems rather than preparing for commercial release. The project successfully demonstrates key mechanics such as dynamic zone control, spawning systems, and match flow within a controlled environment.

Achieved stable execution of the primary gameplay loop, enabling end to end testing from match start to completion. Gained practical experience in designing and implementing scalable systems, handling game state transitions, and structuring gameplay architecture for complex scenarios.

The prototype was not published, as the primary objective was skill development, experimentation, and technical exploration. Established a strong foundation for future projects by improving understanding of system design, performance considerations, and iterative development workflows.

Overall, the project serves as a proof of concept and a learning milestone, showcasing the ability to build and refine complex gameplay systems independently
